On the display of the Dominions applet

Because of a bug in Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine viewing several pages that contain the Dominions applet resulted in a load error ("too many images"). As a workaround the number of images the applet uses is reduced when the Microsoft JVM is used, in effect within Internet Explorer on Windows.

There is an option for Internet Explorer users to get the nice 3D display after all: install the Java plug-in from Sun. This JVM can replace the one from Microsoft - they co-exist on the same machine and you can toggle between the two, so you can easily revert to Microsoft's JVM in case Sun's doesn't satisfy.
